worst pictures in the MLS contest

Inspired by temeculaguy's three car garage monitor, I have another idea that will justify my obsession with constantly reviewing MLS listings even though I won't be buying any time soon.

What has shocked me is just how bad some MLS pictures are. Agents- make me want to come to the house! We assume that you are putting the house's best features in the pictures. I don't want to see dirty dishes. I don't want to see eight pictures of the same room. I don't want to see pictures of the current owners pets.

So I think we need to start the "worst of the MLS" contest. I do think we should cut some slack to low price listings and smaller older condos, where there is not much any photographer could do.
The true "worst" are the mid to high end listings showing features that actually drive me away from the home. Like the kitchen picture in my nominee. .

These are the best they could do on a $1.1-1.2m listing of a near new home?

I can't compete with the pics from Jimmy (I totally agree that the kids with the ankle bracelet is the best!)

Just curious if this ones been posted:

It's not actually in the home - it is an extension on the back:

There are a couple of geodesic dome homes (complete homes, not just extensions) visible from the 78 freeway, and we used to know a family who owned one in northern calif. It seemed to strike some people as the thing to do in the 70s, I guess.

Maybe it's a Unitarian story time hut/launch site.

That's a nice one. Ha!

Oops. I meant unarius instead of unitarian. I heard about these guys when I lived in East county. They might be into geodesic domes with wood-burning stoves.

Cute house in Carlsbad but not the best pictures:

WTH - Those photos of the Carlsbad house are pretty bad. Makes me think they should make you take a photography class before you can buy a camera.

Despite the religious figures on the mantle, the vampires continue to buy furniture.

Strictly from photography standpoint, I would not consider this the best. I mean setting aside tiny place been on market since Sep. 751 psf I'd try to do a little better on the photos.
Nice balcony furniture. Why take a picture of couch, dining table, beds and sea wall?

lol. awesome living room.

My favorite, though, are the two stacked tires in the front yard. A modernist-industrial art statement, no doubt.

Dr. Van Helsing, vampire killer, knew he found the right house... it was the one without any windows.

Well, they are going to need to do a lot of praying to sell that house. Looks like they are all set up for that. I love how the description says, 'good condition'.

At first I thought..."well...it is west of I-5 --- (according to the thumbnail map)

But if you click for the bigger map you see that it is east of I-5

I always hesitate to post some of the photos I've seen. I'd be posting them all day otherwise. Sometimes the properties are bad and I want to post them. Sometimes the properties are nice, but the photos just suck.
Since this is both, I am compelled to post it. Not to mention the description of "charming." WAJ.

I can't help it. Sometimes it's better not to put up photos. Sort of like when you go out to an expensive restaurant that doesn't list prices. Don't post photos and consider it a warning that it's so bad, you don't want to see it.
