Straight talk use the Verizon network and the data is most likely provided by EVDO. Their DO network is pretty much out of capacity from what I am hearing and they may have a quality of service scheduler on for non Verizon subscribers. What does this mean? It means that you are the last to be served for data…
Simply fact of the matter is if you really want data… You’re going to pay for it… Data is what cost the carriers the most. I am assuming that SD is home to you and this being the national headquarters of cricket that they may have the best bang for the buck. Boost use sprint and they are not as heavily loaded as Verizon’s network so taken a look there as well… As for unlimited data…. That’s a pipe dream unless you are willing to pay for it.
