Funny thing in my neighborhood in Carmel Valley. Of all the homes sold off of my street (3-4), the were all purchased with full price offers by yet another asian couple. So much for ethnic diversity. At first, Few years ago, I sort of felt out of place slightly. But now, it's the opposite- I'm kinda bummed it's not quite as diverse anymore.
I fully expect a 99 Ranch Market to open on the 56 Corridor to serve the Asian community from Carmel Valley to Rancho Bernardo. Have you guys been to Pearl Chinese Restaurant in RB? That place is packed.
That'll happen during the downturn when a supermarket like Vons or Albertsons closes. When looking at Carmel Valley, think Irvine with more topography.
haha, that's badly needed as the Ranch 99 in Claremont Mesa is awefully run down and dirty.
just make sure you buy your Carmel Valley home before Ranch 99 comes this way.
