Insane rent increases of 30-108% in Austin, Portland, Tacoma

I do not believe the average 1 bedroom is $3000+ in Austin and Portland.

Nonetheless, even if the data sources have issues and are missing small/low end rentals, this is another data point that San Diego is not that high compared to other 2nd Tier / Sunbelt metro areas.

Huh, I'm from Tacoma and can't believe rents have increased there so much. I guess you could live in Tacoma and commute to a job in Seattle, but I wouldn't want to deal with the traffic and all the terrible highway construction that's been going on like 10 years now. Oh wait I see if finally got completed in 2021 haha:

Some areas in SoCal rents have gone up about the same amount.
