I need help figuring out which one of these numbers in this sequence needs to be changed (and why):
2 4 8 16 20 22 44 46
My husband and I do not agree. I think I’m wrong but I don’t want to admit defeat until I’m sure! I don’t like sequence problems and my fever is not helping me at all…

16 needs to be replaced by 10...
The rule is "add 2 at one step, multiply by 2 at the next step", and so on. So the next numbers in the series are 92, 94, 188, 190, etc.
Daniel is correct.
