he's mentally unstable, maybe on the verge of senility. All that for what? He'll lose his fortune and what's left of his reputation.

No, Trump hasn't jumped the shark yet, but he is up on 2 skis and has made a couple passes (wearing board shorts and leather jacket of course).

... hold on folk's there's a second boat out there with a skier up... it looks like... like it's... it is, it's Hillary Clinton. And look who is driving the boat... it's president Obama, obviously trying to give her some pointers fresh off his successful jump last month.

And look... a third boat pulling a dozen media heads.

I generally don't like to be political but this is the worst presidential race I have ever seen.

I think I will write in Bernie Sanders.

Where is Pat Paulsen when you need him.

At this point I think he just landed a triple jump over three Sharks. There may have been a ring of fire as well.

In recent history, we had an 80 y.o. former actor suffering from Alzheimer, community organizer, born again playboy... Trump fits right in.

What so bad about being a community organizer? Interesting how you equate people.

Are you guys letting your kids watch Donald Trump? Or do you censor?

I wouldn't go so far as to say he landed it. ;)

Nothing bad with being either of the listed. It simply shows the minimum qualifications required for the position.

And all this time I thought they were state governors and US senators. Who knew that we were able to pick some arbitrary job from their past to summarize their qualifications? I guess that means Truman was just a shoe salesman and Lincoln was a grocer.

No, Trump hasn't jumped the shark. The shark thing was at least novel. Trump is just being a petty brat who doesn't even know that there is a high road to take.

Community organizer is a tough job. Low paid and thankless.
Highly admirable for a smart guy to undertake that. It's good that some people have ideals and values.

I'm embarrassed that at the same age I was thinking more about buying a sports car.

If I knew then what I know now...

I would have become a politician. I did not realize when I was getting out of college that you could get so stinking rich being a politician. I would have even sucked it up and been a community organizer for a while.

The Clintons will reach Billionaire status in 5 to 10 years. And as long as the media doesn't turn on him when he leaves office, Obama will be close behind.

It will be interesting to see if Hillary gets elected, will the media let Bill get away with peddling absurdly high dollar speeches for influence.

"Toastmasters"

All the guys I knew early in my career who got involved with this became CEO's and CFO's etc...

Public speaking in general I think becomes very lucrative.

Or a professional athlete. Yes, all you had to do is become president of the most powerful country on earth, or a top quarterback.

Woulda, shoulda (but probably not coulda) ...

You may want to check your math.

Paid "speeches for influence" - how does that work?

And why do you keep saying "the media" - is there only one?

I was in Toastmasters for a couple of years. Very good organization that taught me a lot.

Highly recommended.
