Happiness increasing?

I think my general life satisfaction and happiness level is starting to leap upwards. Data suggests people are miserable in middle age and start to get happy as they approach senior status and continues upward. While this is sort of sad in itself, I gotta admit, I'm often feeling like, wow, this is a great life, I'm super successful, the world is pretty cool and I like it all.

If current trends continue I could be blissed out in my 70s

I'm pretty happy too but I think we are lucky

Psychological drug consumption is at an all time high. It would be interesting to look at the prescription data by age.

Edit: I take it back.... Like a friend told me before "I don't have high blood pressure. That's what medication is for." So by that logic, if more people are on psychological medication, it could be sign of increasing happiness.
