Feels so much better not having to digest food all the time.
Listened for years to slimmer folk telling me to eat smaller meals more often. What a crock that was and how important breakfast was. I was starting to feel diabetic- sweats if I didn't eat and my A1C was barely within normal.
Now hunger is just a dull ache- even after 16 hours of no calories I feel like I can go a whole 24.
Ditto the breakfast. I used to scoff at people who were eating steak and eggs at b-fast. Until, I tried it and realized that amount of protein will carry you literally all day and you really are not that hungry at dinner.
I never eat breakfast because I have zero appetite until about 12:30. My daily "fast" is between last snack around 10:30pm and first meal around 1:30.
I can attest to that. My breakfast is a cup of coffee or two. If I do my exercise during lunch, a casual 2-3 miles walk, then I can get away with having a glass of juice or small snack for lunch. I am more alert in the afternoon and more productive.
Not sure how things work, but I tend to crave for food more if I don't skip my walk. And if I eat a full meal for lunch, my afternoon is pretty much shot especially around 2-3 p.m.
The power of less.
Less food, less thinking, going to the doctor less, less of everything.
